As we are daily watching the impact of the Manifest Presence of GOD on the campus of Asbury University, we are also witnessing the POWERFUL results of Intercessory prayer for repentance and revival, for unity in the Body of Christ, salvation in the land, the love of God transforming lives, peace flowing like a river, and on and on and on. This should encourage us to press in all the more and live 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Intercessory prayer (praying for the needs of others) is a high and holy privilege. We are partnering with God to change the world. When we intercede, we "Enter Seed" into the lives, circumstances, and situations of others where there may be no seed. We "enter seeds" of love, hope, faith, peace, etc., like entering data in a computer! We place or sow seed where it is needed, and by the Word of God we can expect those seeds to produce fruit. God's word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

After a cruel attack on the life of a young man on the parking lot of Calvary Bible Church in Florissant, MO a committed group of pastors decided to come together on the 2nd Friday of every month to Pray and stand against the attacks of the enemy on our city, state, country, and world. We believe this monthly gathering is evidence of the prayers that have been going forth in out city to "tear down wickedness, raise up righteousness, and bring healing to our land." As believers we have the spiritual authority and faith filled prayer is a God ordained way for us to exercise that authority. In support of this prayer gathering please join us as "we pray heaven to earth" (Matthew 6:10).
