PRAY FOR OUR CITY

It has been heavy on my heart for PPV Watchmen to pray for our city over the next 30 days. I would encourage everyone who has not driven into North City to do so ASAP to see first hand the evidence of God's grace and mercy over our city....massive destruction with minimal loss of life...BUT GOD!!!! I believe it is evidence of the prayers that have been going forth for our city thru all the prayer ministries in and around this STL metro area as well as nationally and internationally (James 5:16). Please pray daily for the continual efforts of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the Red Cross, the Urban League, the United Way,  the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities, Love the Lou, STL Recovers, Restore STL, and ALL the emergency shelter locations in churches (Refresh Community Church) and businesses(The Greater STL YMCA) throughout the STL metro area. We thank God for the FEMA aid that was approved by the federal government on June 9, 2025.

Our prayer targets include(but are not limited to these areas so please be led by the Holy Spirit as you pray):

1.Salvation, Healing, and Deliverance for all who have been impacted in any way by the tornado on May 16 2025.

2. Daily and ongoing basic needs to be met with shelter, food, clothing, transportation, security, and any available assistance that can be provided.

3. For the monies that have come to STL for the tornado victims to be used FOR and ONLY FOR the tornado victims

4. For funds to be distributed equitably and with integrity by every organization and entity in the federal, state and local governments. NO MISUSE OF FUNDS IN JESUS' NAME!!!!

5. That THE CHURCH of STL will rise up and BE THE CHURCH that looks like GOD in this STL metro area not just in WORD but in DEED by demonstrating the tangible LOVE OF GOD to EVERYONE in need regardless of race, creed, color, or ethnicity in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!! 

BURKINA FASO IN WEST AFRICA

As you know, Each month you will receive the name of the leader of the nation and specific prayer targets for the nation in our monthly PPV blog. As always, please remember you have the liberty to be led by our Holy Spirit during your prayer time for the nations. Our monthly prayers will be based on the following scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1, 2…..Matthew 28:18-20…. Matthew 24:14 

These are the general prayer targets for the nations every day, in the mighty name of Jesus: 

1. Father God, we ask for OPEN HANDS to minister the gospel (Proverbs 2:20)

2. Father God, we ask for OPEN DOORS to spread the gospel (Colossians 4:2,3)

3. Father God, we ask for OPEN MINDS to receive the gospel (Acts 26:17,18)

4. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEARTS to embrace the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:6)

5. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEAVENS so the gospel will transform nations(Isaiah 45:8)

Prayer Targets....in the mighty name of JESUS!!!

1. Bible Translation is vitally important!!! There are 70 languages in Burkina Faso with French being one of the languages.... only 5 languages (including French)have the whole Bible in print. There are 28 current Bible translation projects in place; pray for more translators and active literacy programs provided for the people to be able to read the Bibles that are produced in their native languages (Psalm 119:105)

2. Burkina Faso is a land locked, resource poor, poverty stricken nation....Pray for aid and development that will lift this nation out of poverty; People with God ideas and resources to help increase the potential for wealth in this nation; and to guard the increase against greed and corruption within the government and the Church (Deut.8:18)

3. This nation is dominated by idolatry, the occult and spiritualism....Pray that the power of the HOLY SPIRIT FALLS LIKE FIRE on Burkina Faso bringing transformation to this land and the surrounding nations with miracles, signs and wonders demonstrating His undeniable POWER over the occult and ALL the demonic forces in this nation(Luke 10:19)

   Watchmen on the Wall Needed

   We are still in need of watchmen to cover the hours of 3pm to 8pm and any other hours that a person may be led to pray!!!! The more watchmen on the wall, the more effective and powerful our prayers are...Isaiah 62:6,7. Please get the word out to friends and family who you know that desire to be used by the Lord as watchmen or intercessors(those who have a burning desire to pray for others) James 5:16-18 is still the TRUTH today!!!! 

   
   

   Corporate Prayer Time

   Our July Corporate Prayer time will be Sunday July 20th @ 3-5pm at my home and online including a time of fasting from 9am -5pm. We will take communion together as we end our time of prayer. Please join us for the entire 2 hours or for whatever portion fits your schedule. I look forward to seeing you!!!! Corporate prayer is POWERFUL as the word says in Matthew 18:18-20.    Global Family Prayer

   On Friday February 2 we will begin our 3rd year of being on the GLOBAL FAMILY PRAYER platform! It has been AMAZING to pray with people from all over this country(Pennsylvania, Boston, Cincinnati, Houston, New York,etc) and especially ALL OVER THE WORLD(India, Pakistan, Australia, Uganda, China,Ghana, Kenya, etc) Please make a special effort to join us @ 4am with us.

   "Our Battle"

   After a cruel attack on the life of a young man on the parking lot of Calvary Bible Church in Florissant, MO a committed group of pastors decided to come together to Pray and stand against the attacks of the enemy on our city, state, country, and world. We believe this monthly gathering is evidence of the prayers that have been going forth in out city to "tear down wickedness, raise up righteousness, and bring healing to our land." As believers we have the spiritual authority and faith filled prayer is a God ordained way for us to exercise that authority. In support of this prayer gathering please join us as "we pray heaven to earth" (Matthew 6:10).
