10 Days of Prayer

Our focus for September will be 10 days of Prayer. It is an international movement that was founded by God through a young man named Jonathan Friz, who is originally from St Louis. The ministry began on the east coast over 10 years ago. It happens every year during the 10 days of Awe on the Jewish calendar between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The dates for this year are September 22 thru October 2.  Jonathan introduced the vision to STL in 2019 and it caught on and has been growing over the past 6 years.

Join us to witness how God sparked a prayer movement birthed in St. Louis that has mobilized hundreds of thousands around the world in prayer. The evening will begin with opening remarks from Dr. Kimm Gaines, coordinator of 10 Days in St. Louis, followed by a time of prayer and worship led by Jackson Bick. SLOVAKIA

As you know, Each month you will receive the name of the leader of the nation and specific prayer targets for the nation in our monthly PPV blog. As always, please remember you have the liberty to be led by our Holy Spirit during your prayer time for the nations. Our monthly prayers will be based on the following scriptures: 1 Timothy 2:1, 2…..Matthew 28:18-20…. Matthew 24:14 

These are the general prayer targets for the nations every day, in the mighty name of Jesus: 

1. Father God, we ask for OPEN HANDS to minister the gospel (Proverbs 2:20)

2. Father God, we ask for OPEN DOORS to spread the gospel (Colossians 4:2,3)

3. Father God, we ask for OPEN MINDS to receive the gospel (Acts 26:17,18)

4. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEARTS to embrace the gospel (2 Corinthians 4:6)

5. Father God, we ask for OPEN HEAVENS so the gospel will transform nations(Isaiah 45:8)

Prayer targets for Slovakia:

1.Pray that the strong foundation of Christianity would be brought to a vibrant life by a NEW move of the Holy Spirit.

2. Appropriate training for both leaders and believers is essential. Pray that programs will be developed to bring a new generation of well trained Godly leaders and believers into Slovakia.

3.Discipleship, evangelism, and church multiplication are essential for the gospel to reach the entire nation. Pray for Godly laborers of the harvest to increase to achieve the goal to see churches in every city and every town in Slovakia within the next 5 years.

Watchmen on the Wall Needed

We are still in need of watchmen to cover the hours of 3pm to 8pm and any other hours that a person may be led to pray!!!! The more watchmen on the wall, the more effective and powerful our prayers are...Isaiah 62:6,7. Please get the word out to friends and family who you know that desire to be used by the Lord as watchmen or intercessors(those who have a burning desire to pray for others) James 5:16-18 is still the TRUTH today!!!! 

Corporate Prayer Time

Our August Corporate Prayer time will be Sunday September 21st @ 3-5pm at my home and online including a time of fasting from 9am -5pm. Our prayer focus will be the upcoming 10 days of prayer event. We will take communion together as we end our time of prayer. Please join us for the entire 2 hours or for whatever portion fits your schedule. Global Family Prayer

On Friday February 2 we will begin our 3rd year of being on the GLOBAL FAMILY PRAYER platform! It has been AMAZING to pray with people from all over this country(Pennsylvania, Boston, Cincinnati, Houston, New York,etc) and especially ALL OVER THE WORLD(India, Pakistan, Australia, Uganda, China,Ghana, Kenya, etc) Please make a special effort to join us @ 4am with us.

"Our Battle"

After a cruel attack on the life of a young man on the parking lot of Calvary Bible Church in Florissant, MO a committed group of pastors decided to come together to Pray and stand against the attacks of the enemy on our city, state, country, and world. We believe this monthly gathering is evidence of the prayers that have been going forth in out city to "tear down wickedness, raise up righteousness, and bring healing to our land." As believers we have the spiritual authority and faith filled prayer is a God ordained way for us to exercise that authority. In support of this prayer gathering please join us as "we pray heaven to earth" (Matthew 6:10).
